I recently learned how to make homemade ice cream without a maker. It turned out pretty amazing, however I can’t remember where I got the recipe and instructions from. I’m still hunting and will share when I can! My kids prefer it way more than store bought and it is pretty healthy!

I am always looking for new recipes to enjoy, create and tweak but I’m also always looking for recipes others make and have good success with. After all, I want to make sure I’m making something good, and that others have enjoyed before so it’s not wasted! I’m not one of those spontaneous people who just wing it, and go. I like to make sure everything is top notch! Would you serve your family with something you weren’t too sure about? Maybe, but I hate wasting food or money so I like a sure thing!

    These all look and sound Awesome. I’ve always wanted to try a kumquat. I think an ice cream would be the prefect starting point.

    This is great! Home made ice cream is a huge deal in the south. It’s almost always at every barbecue.

    I’d love to try making my own ice cream cookie sandwiches. Then I can customize the ice cream to my favorite flavor – anything with peanut butter in it!

    I can’t decide between the Chocolate Coconut Sorbet and the Thin Mint. I guess I will just have to try making both! With summer on the horizon I will have to make ice cream!

    When I was a kid in San Diego, we’d make homemade kumquat ice cream. It’s always fun to try dessert recipes that include that tasty frozen dessert. The lemon burst frozen coconut ice cream sounds like a great one to try.
