It’s Summer so I know one of the things a lot of people loathe doing is cooking or baking, right? Well, this Acai Fruit Dessert cup recipe is simple, easy and so delicious. It’s perfect for summertime and doesn’t require time in a hot stuffy kitchen with an oven on!
This is so easy, even I enjoy making them a few times a week for my family. Although super delicious, healthy and good my kids? LOVE THEM! They take less than 10 minutes to make, and they’ll be gone within a few seconds of putting them in front of you. Perfect for a backyard bbq, or even a potluck (although you’d have to make a big batch!) they’ll be a big hit!
For the Acai smoothie:
- 1 banana, sliced and frozen
- 2 frozen acai packets ( you’ll find them in the frozen section of a health or specialty store )
Blend those two ingredients together until thick and smooth. Pour in a small bowl or cup and then just layer your fruits, berries, granola, chia seeds or even shredded coconut. You can be really creative with this one.
Stir right before eating.
