It’s finally feeling a little bit like spring where we live. It’s been really nice, and I think the family is really enjoying it too! It’s no secret we love doing things as a family. We love going for walks to the park and just generally hanging out together. When you have as many kids as we do you have to get the kids out and about to keep them entertained sometimes. Luckily for us recently, the weather has been so beautiful and made that possible for us! We’ve been going stir crazy being cooped up inside for the long winter months, we are thrilled to get out and about again.
If you know my husband you know he always has headphones on, always. It’s a pet peeve of mine actually because I get tired of having to repeat myself constantly when I ask him something, and he’s listening to music. I don’t listen to music except when I’m doing my workouts so it’s annoying to me but thanks to AfterShokz I don’t have to repeat myself as much anymore! My husband also has a pair of AfterShokz Trekz Air Headphones, and they’ve been making his life easier too. While he enjoys listening to music lately he’s been listening to some podcasts that he really enjoys.
Heading out and about with kids can be frustrating when there are so many, and the boys tend to want to be off running and doing their own thing, so we need to be a team more than ever when we head off on our adventures. Having him still be able to hear us while listening to his music, or his podcasts makes our outings much easier. With AfterShokz Trekz Air having bone conduction technology and not having to have the actual headphones in his ears, he can hear all of us and be present while still doing his own thing, and being part of the team.
AfterShokz Trekz Air send mini vibrations through your cheekbones, directly to your inner ear, leaving your ear canals open – lucky for him that means he hears us when we are talking and the kids are playing, and he can still hear what’s going on in his headphones too. They stay in place when moving around, so even if we head to the park with the kids, there is no fear of them coming off and being a pain to keep on while in motion! It’s the ultimate way to multitask.
My favourite feature of these headphones are the fact there are no wires or cords. Making not only using them simple but taking them off and putting them aside easier too. Have you ever tried to deal with kids, a stroller and headphones at the same time? It’s not a lot of fun.
The kids love using our AfterShokz Trekz Air headphones too. The girls often ask to borrow them so they can listen to their music, but the boys enjoy using them while catching their favourite show on the iPad or listening to their e-books on the go. They really are for the whole family!
