It’s almost that time again! Summer is coming to a close, the weather will soon be changing and the groans of all the little ones heading back to a structured routine will soon ensue. Although I am extremely sad that summer is coming to an end I am really looking forward to getting back into our back-to-school routine. I miss being able to work as much as I can when the kids are in school, and the kids going to school coming home with most of their energy burned and call me crazy but making the kids lunches for school I miss terribly since my husband took over last year while I was pregnant – I miss it and am really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.

This year my kids are heading back fully prepared. They have all their back-to-school supplies, thanks to Staples but now the younger ones are ready to head back thanks to Dalcini Stainless and SoYoung as well.

Dalcini Stainless

DALCINI Stainless is an award-winning company dedicated to creating healthy, stylish stainless steel products that are easy-to-use, easy-to-clean, easy-to-store and easy on the environment. They look amazing, hold a ton of food and are really easy to add label’s to so we don’t have anyone taking them on us!

Why Dalcini Stainless?

  • Non-leaching
  • Dishwasher-safe
  • Freezer-safe
  • Oven-safe
  • Space-saving
  • Child-safe
  • Ethically-made
  • No Hormone-disruptors
  • No Lead
  • No Aluminum
  • Sustainable
  • Lifetime Warranty

Making my kids lunches is important to me. I like to make sure they have enough for the day, but also that the foods I send are fresh, and healthy to fuel them for their day of learning and Dalcini makes it easy to ensure all their snacks are fresh, and kept neatly until our kids are ready to jump in and eat! The fact they have a lifetime warranty is something every parent looks for when buying these types of containers because let’s face it – we don’t want to have to keep buying them year after year, which is something we have done and I refuse to after this year. Thankfully, I won’t have to now that I’ve welcomed Dalcini Stainless into our lives, I just need to buy a set for each kiddo and we are golden!

SoYoung

Of course, having the proper containers to carry their lunch is extremely important but what about transport to and from school? Of course, you need the right lunch bag and backpack! SoYoung has us covered there!

A handy removable insert makes wiping up messes a snap and the versatile lunch box can be worn either messenger or backpack style – just loop the extendable strap through the carrying handle.

Justin is looking forward to taking his new lunch box into school with him! The size of the lunch box is really important and making sure all the reusable containers and items will fit comfortably inside, and he won’t have any problems closing his lunch box. I think we will be in the clear with SoYoung. The products are the perfect size for little ones, and will fit all our lunch needs perfectly. Now, of course, this wouldn’t be a back-to-school post without the ultimate must-have for heading back – Mabel’s Labels! Every year for as long as I can remember we’ve had Mabel’s Labels. For our backpacks, coats, boots, shoes and all our lunch container needs.

MABEL’S LABELS!

Although I think Mabel’s Labels has you covered completely for every need you could ever have, I do enjoy the Ultimate Back-to-School combo’s for back to school time. The combo pack comes with everything you need to label your child’s belongings from day 1.

Why Mabel’s Labels?

Whether you need to label your kids’ clothes or your kitchen canisters, Mabel’s Labels has all of your needs covered. These labels are perfect for school, camp, daycare, and home.

Ultimate Back-to-School Combo:

128 Labels and Tags

  • 40 Mini Custom Name Stickers: 38mm x 8mm (1-1/2″ x 5/16″)
  • 70 Tag Mates™ Stick On Clothing Labels: 21mm x 10mm (13/16″ x 3/8″)
  • 16 Custom Shoe Stickers (8 pairs): 33mm (1.3″)
  • 2 Personalized Mini Tags: 30mm x 20mm (1-1/4″ x 3/4″)

Now, I don’t have all my containers yet for back to school, or everyone’s lunch boxes so I don’t have all the things labeled yet, but I’m excited to get them done before school starts. Mabel’s Labels has saved me hundreds of dollars. Do you know how often a kindergartner and 1st/2nd grader lose their items? Weekly is probably an understatement, I’d say a few times a week.

Using Mabel’s Labels that don’t wear or wash off has made it easy for my kids to head down to the lost and found and find their items no problem. I volunteered at their school last year and once helped out with the lost and found putting items on the table’s and let me tell you – not a single item was labeled. I was mortified. Did these parents not hear about Mabel’s Labels? How was this possible? Parents would come in complaining about their child’s lost items – meanwhile had they done a little bit of research, or asked other parents they’d not have their kid’s full snowsuits and mitt/hat sets sitting in lost and found!

Do yourself, your kids and your school a favour and buy yourself some Mabel’s Labels. LABEL ALL THE THINGS. For a limited time only all products mentioned here are available at Mabel’s Labels. Hurry before they are gone!

COUPON CODE!

My good friends at Mabel’s Labels have offered you friends a 10% off coupon code which is: SIXTIMEMOMMY so use at check out! Please note this can only be used on Label products!

Happy Back-to-School!

I am always looking for ways that are easier as far as packing lunches. I don’t have my kiddo bring hardly anything in a plastic bag especially if he needs to throw it in the microwave. Stuff like this would be good if he doesn’t have to throw it in the microwave. I really like how classy it looks.

Love me some Mabel’s Labels. We used them every year for back to school and Summer camp. It amazed me how those labels stayed stuck in place all the year through. Loving those stainless steel containers too. Purpose and style = yes please.

These are some great ideas for back to school. My son usually goes through a backpack and a half every year. I never saw those containers but they look like a great way to pack a lunch. Mabels Labels are always a hit with my family.

I love those stainless steel lunch containers, and those lunch bags are just adorable! I would use the containers for snacks and stuff at home. Mabel’s Labels are also pretty awesome. We have some from 8 years ago that are still holding up great!
