Disclosure: This post is in partnership with Medley Festival. As always, opinions are all mine.

If you are like me you’d don’t have much planned for this summer. I am pretty much a homebody and like to stay closer to home during the really hot summer months. So, I’m always on the look out for fun local things to do as a family or for a girls weekend! The Medley Festival is the first of its kind and will be filled with unique flavours, delicious beverages and over 60 specialty vendors and sponsors ready to serve up local favourites from around the region. The Medley Festival is three days of jam packed culinary pleasures and entertainment at the Southshore Centre.

The Medley Festival – Barrie, July 20-22:

  • Medley Fest will be home to local top culinary experts such as Chef Dario Tomaselli with partner Anita Heidema and their Passion is Cooking mission to bring people together and feed the soul by creating delicious food together, daily food/beverage demonstrations and workshops, and fan-favourite food trucks
  • Get your culinary fix with vendors like Toronto’s own North Shore Pie Co serving up authentic New Zealand pies and delicacies, hand-crafted alpine-style cheeses from Stonetown Artisan Cheese or check out the diverse products and recipes of Dr. Oetker.
  • See and taste the best in wine, beer, ciders and spirits that Barrie and its surrounding communities have to offer! From bartending flare competitions to Caesar & Sangria Sunday, the excitement doesn’t stop!
