Breastfeeding Changed me as a Mother

As the title says, Breastfeeding Changed me as a Mother. Completely and utterly changed me and I say this in the best way possible. I am so grateful that I decided to try breastfeeding after failing twice previously and stuck with it for the rest of my kids.

Disclosure: This post is in partnership with ComfyComfy Canada. As always, opinions are all my own.

Why am I mentioning how much breastfeeding has changed me? Because, I feel it’s important to share as a mom to a large amount of kids — some of which I didn’t even attempt to breastfeed, some I did and failed and others that’s all they knew until toddlers.

Breastfeeding is one of the most magical experiences as a mother. I didn’t realize it so many years ago, but it’s true. It gave me extra confidence, and made me feel like I was accomplishing something that I never really realized I was missing before.

Having proper tools to breastfeed is important. I will only recommend four items for breastfeeding and this one I’m about to share with you today, is on that list!

ComfyComfy Canada is a small family business in Toronto by Melissa in 2013. It began as a simple quest to introduce supportive, natural, moldable buckwheat pillows into the mainstream, and has since then grown into offering health and well-being products that they truly believe in.

During pregnancy it’s so important to be comfortable and have support. I always found pillows helped tremendously. I wish I had know of ComfyComfy Canada Pillows during all of my pregnancies because they are heaven.

ComfyMama 3-in-1 Organic Buckwheat Hull Pillow has quickly become a favourite for Mia and I. Although she isn’t a tiny baby anymore she nurses like it’s going out of style.

Mia loves the ComfyMama 3-in-1 Organic Buckwheat Hull Pillow. Not only does she love cuddling up on it to nurse but she can often be found laying her head on it and lounging around.

It’s so comfortable and is 100% organic. These pillows, and others offered by ComfyComfy Canada are filled with 7lbs of thoroughly cleaned, organic buckwheat hulls. Grown in Canada.

The patterns offered are adorable and fit with any theme you are going with, and you can use it for pounding around (as Mia does) if and when your breastfeeding journey comes to an end.

Back to the title here really quickly — I really had no idea when I only nursed my oldest for 2 weeks, and then didn’t breastfed my two girls after, how much I was missing and needed that connection. It changed me in so many ways, I can’t really put into words but I think it gave me a sense of nurturing that I was missing, but didn’t realize I was. If that makes sense? It’s an amazing thing breastfeeding and Mia is at 15 months and still going strong…

I’m so happy Breastfeeding Changed me as a Mother. So amazing.
