As the title says, Breastfeeding Changed me as a Mother. Completely and utterly changed me and I say this in the best way possible. I am so grateful that I decided to try breastfeeding after failing twice previously and stuck with it for the rest of my kids.

Why am I mentioning how much breastfeeding has changed me? Because, I feel it’s important to share as a mom to a large amount of kids — some of which I didn’t even attempt to breastfeed, some I did and failed and others that’s all they knew until toddlers.

Back to the title here really quickly — I really had no idea when I only nursed my oldest for 2 weeks, and then didn’t breastfed my two girls after, how much I was missing and needed that connection. It changed me in so many ways, I can’t really put into words but I think it gave me a sense of nurturing that I was missing, but didn’t realize I was. If that makes sense? It’s an amazing thing breastfeeding and Mia is at 15 months and still going strong…
