AD • How is everyone doing with back-to-school? I’ve been MIA again on here, oops! But I’ve been busy.

Working full-time, owning a business and being a mama to 8 its all keeping me on my toes and I love it!

Do you know what I don’t love however? Food. NOPE. I have a love/hate relationship right now with food. Why? Because it’s SO delicious and I’m trying to lose all this baby weight once and for all. So, right now I’m not a fan of food (😂) but we gotta eat!

I’ve been trying to find better options and low sugar/low cal/low carb options. My biggest hurdle though? Is bread. I LOVVVE bread. Recently @promiseglutenfree sent me two boxes FULL of different breads and buns.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t over the moon because 🍞 but again... food. However, Promise Gluten Free is different.

Recently, our little Hanna had surgery at the for her teeth. After having 8 teeth extracted and a bunch of other word done due to genetics, when she got home - @treetopsfunogram had dropped off this wonderful funogram for her which was such a light for her on a REALLY rough day!

About a month or so ago I purchased a balloon bouquet for my daughters graduation and also a spa gift package with bath bombs etc!

We had a blast. I had the day off (because I have the best job!) and did some school work (more on that later!) In the backyard while the kids played then had much needed family time!⁣

We had a delicious cheat dinner (whoops, sorry diet!) that may or may not have included DQ ice cream cake 🍰 and a ton of delicious treats like JIFFY POP! My kids all-time favourite! It was a day of treats and indulgence! 🇨🇦 ⁣
⁣
Kids coloured, played and just enjoyed the day! Ended the night by watching fireworks 💥 from the driveway and a movie night with the hubs!⁣

🍿 is a huge staple in our home. My kids love little baggies of it for snacks! We are heading camping 🏕 in August and the one thing the kids requested as a “must bring” was JIFFY POP! So, of course we will be bringing some along!⁣

📚 These three love learning. Justin however hasn’t been able to do much school work in the last few weeks as we have been waiting for his glasses to FINALLY arrive from Burlington 🙄 to say I’m fed up with waiting for his & Ava’s glasses would be an understatement. So he tries so hard but usually has to do some other form of learning (cooking, crafts, planting, etc.) ⁣⁣⁣

🌳 To mix things up a bit we’ve been doing some work outside while the little girls play, and enjoying the decent weather we’ve mostly been having. ☀️ ⁣⁣⁣

💯 I’ll be honest though — I’ve been over this “distance learning” for a good month now. I have zero desire to even make it till June 25th, but dad has done a really good job with getting the kids in the kitchen, learning & reading, when we don’t want to sit with them glued to a computer screen. 💻 I for one, cant wait to put the computers away & just enjoy the break.⁣⁣⁣⁣
