With summer fast approaching and the fun times to be had at fairs and carnivals, both of which we never can get to with our lack of vehicle and licenses so we make do and create fun fair and carnival treats at home. The deep fried pickle I’ve seen done different ways, and in a couple of restaurants but my kids had no idea it was even a thing. When we whopped these up Jackson was the first one to try them and he loved them!
Really easy, really tasty and really crunchy on the inside these deep fried pickles quickly became a family favourite and didn’t last very long before the kids gobbled them all up! I couldn’t believe it when my five year old was taking them and before I knew it the whole bowl was gone!

If you’ve tried these delicious fried pickles before at a fair or carnival then you’ll lose these. They are full of pickle flavour and have a delicious crispy coating that is to die for! I love deep fried (or air fryed) foods, and although I’m not the biggest pickle fan — these were really good!
Have you ever watched those tv shows that show all the different types of carnival and fair foods? You can deep fry just about everything, and they do! It’s really something else. I’ve never tried anything crazy, but I’ve seen deep fried chocolate, ice cream, butter… You name it, I’m sure they can do it. Not too sure how good it will be but people will try just about anything once it seems! These are delicious and probably the least weird out of everything you can deep fry!
