Entertaining can be extremely stressful and often any time I’ve ever had anyone over I can freak out over what I’m serving. Well, Tostitos has made it easy this Holiday season! They’ve got lots of recipes to enjoy and I made two for Christmas and think they’d make an amazing treat for any New Years eve or any kind of get together!
I wasn’t so sure how Apples would taste with Tostitios chips but when I saw the recipe it intrigued me and I knew I had to try. Apple Crisp is one of my all time favorites, since I was a kid so I knew it wouldn’t taste half bad. I made this recipe for Tostitos Mini Apple Crumbles and they were delicious! My kids weren’t huge fans, except for Ava who also loves Apples and pretty much anything to do with Apples but the adults really enjoyed this dish.
They taste exactly like Apple Crumble or Apple Crisp with a very delicious hint of salt and tostitos! It’s really neat how amazing the flavors taste together. I am very laid back with my foods, I don’t try anything new and I’m very skeptical of things together. So trying this was out of my comfort zone, but it works! Very, well done!
The second recipe I tried from Tostitos I barely got to taste. My kids, gobbled them up before I could get another photo. So, this is the only one I got of Salted Caramel & Chocolate Bark.
Mine looked NOTHING like the good folks over at Tostitos did but it tasted amazing. I got to try a piece — the chocolate with the salty chips and caramel? You can’t go wrong. So, if you are throwing a holiday party this is a must! Hopefully yours would look much better than mine but its the flavor that counts, right? If so – This was a huge win!
