I have never been one to have break outs, except during “that time of the month” and the odd time during pregnancy. But lately, I’ve been having break outs like crazy. With my upcoming 30th Birthday approaching I think it’s the funniest thing to be walking around nursing acne at 30 so I knew it was time to do something about these mini little break outs I keep getting!
I was actually talking to a friend of mine about this the other day. She has beautiful skin and apparently taking CBD supplements has made a big difference to her skincare routine. CBD products are gaining a wider acceptance lately, and this trend has facilitated the production of a large range of products that can benefit your skin. The potential soothing benefits of CBD can mean that CBD oil might be able to provide some benefits for skin concerns such as breakouts and blemishes.
Additionally, there is also a lot of anecdotal evidence to suggest that CBD could also play a role in hydrating the skin and combatting dry skin. With this in mind, if you are considering introducing some CBD supplements into your skincare routine, you might want to research some of the different CBD products out there such as Wholesale CBD Softgels for example. Besides, if you are thinking about using any supplements, it is important to do as much research as possible to ensure that you are making the right choices for your needs. Continuing the softgel example, there are manufacturers out there that create these supplements to supply your body with the nutrients it needs in a safe and healthy way. Softgels can have CBD in them, they can also have fish oil, krill oil, vitamin E and many more. So make sure you are researching softgel manufacturers and picking the ones who build these supplements in a way that you suits you and your body.
Anyway, in my quest to try to get rid of these little break outs (I tried tooth paste, vitamins, diet change, etc) I was contacted and asked to review help: clear skin so I checked it out and thought it would be worth a try! I was sent help: clear skin daily jelly supplements and help: clear skin beautify skin powder. The box also included a cute little compact mirror.
What is help: clear skin daily jelly supplements:
help: clear skin contains PravENAC™, our proprietary formula incorporating a clinically proven bioactive protein rich in lactoferrin. Lactoferrin has been shown to reduce the development of the bacteria responsible for many skin impurities due to its anti-microbial effects.’
What is help: clear skin beautify skin powder?:
help: beautify skin is a new ready-to-eat jelly supplement that looks and tastes like an indulgent treat but is specifically formulated to deliver particular skin benefits, helping you to achieve a youthful, glowing, healthy complexion from the inside.
I wasn’t a fan of the taste of either one, the Jelly especially was a bit hard for me to swallow but I do generally have a picky pallet so that wasn’t surprising to me.
help: clear skin by Works with Water is a UK based company. When I went on the website and put both products in my bag the cost was a a whopping $106.87 USD for the 2 exact products I am testing and that’s without shipping (which is free!) or putting Canada for my address. While I did notice a difference in my skin during the time I usually get outbreaks – I’m not sure I could justify $106.87 for these products. If the price was a little lower, I think I would add these products to my monthly budget because I did notice a difference and I was impressed. So, I decided to input my address and to my surprise this lowered my total to: $89.06! Still a bit much for me but that is MUCH better.
I enjoyed the fact I noticed a difference in my skin as quickly as 5 days, and I loved that my skin wasn’t dried out. It remained healthy, and hydrated which is a huge reason I never enjoyed creams or lotions they usually dry out my skin fast!
If you are looking for a great way to clear up your skin without all the harmful chemicals, creams or pills I do suggest giving the help: clear skin line a try!
