Help: Clear Skin -- Get rid of Acne! - sixtimemommy.comI have never been one to have break outs, except during “that time of the month” and the odd time during pregnancy. But lately, I’ve been having break outs like crazy. With my upcoming 30th Birthday approaching I think it’s the funniest thing to be walking around nursing acne at 30 so I knew it was time to do something about these mini little break outs I keep getting!

I was actually talking to a friend of mine about this the other day. She has beautiful skin and apparently taking CBD supplements has made a big difference to her skincare routine. CBD products are gaining a wider acceptance lately, and this trend has facilitated the production of a large range of products that can benefit your skin. The potential soothing benefits of CBD can mean that CBD oil might be able to provide some benefits for skin concerns such as breakouts and blemishes.

Additionally, there is also a lot of anecdotal evidence to suggest that CBD could also play a role in hydrating the skin and combatting dry skin. With this in mind, if you are considering introducing some CBD supplements into your skincare routine, you might want to research some of the different CBD products out there such as Wholesale CBD Softgels for example. Besides, if you are thinking about using any supplements, it is important to do as much research as possible to ensure that you are making the right choices for your needs. Continuing the softgel example, there are manufacturers out there that create these supplements to supply your body with the nutrients it needs in a safe and healthy way. Softgels can have CBD in them, they can also have fish oil, krill oil, vitamin E and many more. So make sure you are researching softgel manufacturers and picking the ones who build these supplements in a way that you suits you and your body.

Anyway, in my quest to try to get rid of these little break outs (I tried tooth paste, vitamins, diet change, etc) I was contacted and asked to review help: clear skin so I checked it out and thought it would be worth a try! I was sent help: clear skin daily jelly supplements and help: clear skin beautify skin powder. The box also included a cute little compact mirror.

help10What is help: clear skin daily jelly supplements:
help: clear skin contains PravENAC™, our proprietary formula incorporating a clinically proven bioactive protein rich in lactoferrin. Lactoferrin has been shown to reduce the development of the bacteria responsible for many skin impurities due to its anti-microbial effects.’

help2What is help: clear skin beautify skin powder?:
help: beautify skin is a new ready-to-eat jelly supplement that looks and tastes like an indulgent treat but is specifically formulated to deliver particular skin benefits, helping you to achieve a youthful, glowing, healthy complexion from the inside.

help1I was intrigued to try because I DO NOT do pills, of any sort for dieting or anything so when I found out the items were powder and a jelly, I was anxious to give them a try.

I wasn’t a fan of the taste of either one, the Jelly especially was a bit hard for me to swallow but I do generally have a picky pallet so that wasn’t surprising to me.

help7help: clear skin by Works with Water is a UK based company. When I went on the website and put both products in my bag the cost was a a whopping $106.87 USD for the 2 exact products I am testing and that’s without shipping (which is free!) or putting Canada for my address. While I did notice a difference in my skin during the time I usually get outbreaks – I’m not sure I could justify $106.87 for these products. If the price was a little lower, I think I would add these products to my monthly budget because I did notice a difference and I was impressed. So, I decided to input my address and to my surprise this lowered my total to: $89.06! Still a bit much for me but that is MUCH better.

help9I enjoyed the fact I noticed a difference in my skin as quickly as 5 days, and I loved that my skin wasn’t dried out. It remained healthy, and hydrated which is a huge reason I never enjoyed creams or lotions they usually dry out my skin fast!

If you are looking for a great way to clear up your skin without all the harmful chemicals, creams or pills I do suggest giving the help: clear skin line a try!

  1. Wow! I’ve never used this kind of product before. The Jelly sounds a little weird to me, but I’m glad you had good results. It does seem pretty expensive to me, but I’ve not had a really bad skin problem…yet. If I did, maybe I could justify the cost. Thanks for the review.

  2. Breakouts were bad in our adolescent years. Much worse as an adult. I’m experiencing the same thing. Thanks for this review, it’s been helpful to know that this product works.

  3. I had breakouts well into my 30s and it was so frustrating. Thankfully, they seem to be over with. Now it’s other issues. ;)

  4. This sounds like a product that I need to try! I only break out about once a month but man, would I like to get rid of that and have clear skin! I think I need to check this out!

  5. I would love to try a product that could help me achieve youthful, glowing, healthy complexion from the inside. I’ve been trying this and that on the outside but it never occurred to me I need to start from the inside to get the best results.

  6. I might have to try this out. I couldn’t agree more, acne as an adult is embarrassing!

  7. I confess to a bit of sticker shock for what it is. Still, all of the forced heat inside during the winter dries my skin so quickly that I might consider it during that time of year. thank you for your review!

  8. This sounds like such an interesting product. Now that I am in my thirties and have had two kiddos my skin is all over the place and I feel like I am a teenager again–so annoying!

  9. I too, hate the semi frequent breakouts that I have had. I have always been looking for something to help with the breakouts and not dry out my skin so much. This sounds like a great skin line I wouldn’t mind giving a try. Thank you for sharing.

  10. I think I’d try the powder. Like you, I appreciate that it’s powder or gel form rather than a pill.

  11. Thank you for the thoughtful review. I used to have gorgeous skin, but lately, if I get even a little stressed I get huge breakouts. Now I can’t find anything to treat the issue without frying my skin. So frustrating! I may check this product out. Thank you! – Jerusha, TheDisneyChef.com

  12. This is the first time I heard about this. Glad I didn’t have issues with my skin. I will pass this on to my sister.

  13. I am going to share these products with my sister who suffers from acne. She has tried everything and nothing has worked for her. Thanks!!

  14. Wow, this is very interesting. I have never seen anything for skin that is in a drinkable powder form, but you are right. Taking care of your skin comes from the inside out, so it makes sense.

  15. I have to say that the best skin care products that I’ve used were something that I ate. The best. I am open to trying this one too.

  16. Oooo now this sounds pretty unique! I’m all about anything to keep skin looking clear so I’m going to have to check this out!

  17. At 32 years old, I am starting to have wacky skin issues. I have never heard of this line of products but it seems pretty unique!
