Although we don’t have a vehicle, we always make sure to have car seats on hand for our kids. After seeing how much car insurance can cost when a friend told us about this article here, we decided that this investment to protect our little one’s lives is well worth it. They’re a must to have at the ready in case of an emergency, or if we simply have to get somewhere that requires a quicker trip than public transit! Plus, a friend had a harrowing experience with their child in their car, and whilst they had to figure out car accidents claims in Baltimore their child was safe and well.
It is scary how common these accidents can be. Sometimes, other drivers can not be trusted on the roads, and unfortunately, this can lead to injuries of those who are driving safely. A lot of the time, this is due to drivers being on the roads under the influence. If only these people did more research into DUI laws, like is DUI a felony or misdemeanor in IN and other areas and how it can impact other innocent drivers; perhaps they wouldn’t take these reckless chances. Nevertheless, it definitely highlights how essential a safe and high-quality car seat is for my kids.
Before being introduced to Graco, I had never seen a car seat that not only fits my 1-year-old (and will grow with her), but that also fits my 4-year-old and 6-year-olds at the same time. The Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat fits all three of them comfortably, and takes a lot of the guesswork out of complicated car seat installations. Take a look!
This car seat is easy to use, simple to adjust, and can be used rear-facing for longer than most car seats thanks to a handy 4-position extension panel that provides 5″ of extra legroom.
The Extrend2Fit Convertible also has an easy-to-read level indicator for hassle-free installation.
The seat reclines in various positions, and the back can also be raised or lowered into 10 height positions to ensure an excellent fit as your child grows.
Transport Canada’s installation guide for Rear-Facing Car Seats says children are safest in rear-facing car seats as long as the child is still below height and weight limits of their car seat, even if the child’s legs touch the back of the seat and the child weighs more than 10 kg or 22 lb.
The Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat keeps rear-facing infants and toddlers harnessed 1.8 kg/4 lb – 22.5 kg/50 lb, and keeps forward-facing toddlers harnessed ten kg/22 lb – 30 kg/65 lb. Parents can feel confident that this car seat provides added comfort and, most importantly, enhanced safety for all the car rides ahead.
I have to say, one of my favourite features of this car seat is the price. Not only does the Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat transition with your child from rear-facing car seat to forward-facing booster, but the steel reinforced frame provides strength and durability for up to ten years of use. Talk about getting your money’s worth and more! The price is perfect at just $349.99 (CAD), available at Babies R Us, Walmart and Canadian Tire.
Jackson used the Extend2Fit Convertible for our 4.5-hour ride to our new house when we moved. It was supposed to be a 45-minute ride but turned into 4.5 hours, and we didn’t hear a peep out of him. He fell asleep 2 hours in, and when he woke up was still very comfortable, well-rested, and ready to party.
If you are looking for a car seat for multiple children, or that grows with your little one – the Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat is the right seat for you. Not only is the price perfect, but it also lasts up to 10 years and will grow with your child up to 65lbs.
What do you look for in a car seat? What factors help you decide on which one is the right choice for you?
My friend recently had a car accident and because of her fantastic Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat her little ones were safe. She decided to take legal action against the other party because she believed that they were the reason the accident happened. She decided she needed some legal aid from a Los Angeles car accident lawyer. After consulting with a range of lawyers she finally found the support she needed. It is important to have legal aid on call in case you are unfortunate enough to be involved in a collision.
