Jack & Lily: My Mocs Review + Giveaway

mymocs1When it comes to baby items, especially clothes and shoes I can be very picky. I hate spending a lot of money on things babies grow out of very quickly. Justin was born 6 weeks early and he was over 7lbs. The doctors were shocked, as they tried to prepare me for the worst (well to me, he would have had to stay in NICU and that to me was the end of the world that very day but it didn’t turn out that way anyway) and when he came out the doctors were asking if my dates were in fact correct. They were. He’s just a big boy.

Right now he’s 17 months old, pretty short and almost 3olbs. He is a beef cake. So, Buying things that are super expensive aren’t an option because he grows very quickly. Enter My Mocs. Baby Mocs are all the rage right now and every single pair I see are usually $40+ which to me I just can’t do. My frugal side outweighs the cute side of all things when the price is more than $40 on a baby item they won’t fit in for long.

I saw Jack and Lily and instantly fell in love. The selection they have to choose from is beyond adorable, the different options (My Mocs, My Mocs Boots, My Boots, My Shoes, and Original) was a huge surprise! You aren’t limited when it comes to selection, cuteness or even price.

mymocs2I was given a selection of My Mocs to choose from so I asked the kids what they thought. They all wanted pretty much every pair! We had it narrowed down to two, and the soccer ball pair “Max” won!

mymocs3When they arrived I had to stop myself from opening the box and putting them on Justin right then and there. I had to wait until I could take some photos, but once I was done that on they went. Justin laughed and laughed. He kept pointing at the soccer ball. He thought they were awesome. He wasn’t used to much being on his little chubby feet besides socks so the first few steps were wobbly, but now he’s running around in them like nothing!

I ordered him size 18-24 months.. Which fit him just perfectly. They won’t fit for very long because he does have very big feet, but right now they are perfect. Once they don’t fit, I will be ordering the next size up because I absolutely love them.

They are really well made, I was really shocked as I have tried other kinds of Mocs, Slippers and shoes and they didn’t hold up, at all. Justin has been running around in the My Mocs for over a week and not even a mark on them. I’m really impressed. Boys can be very hard on shoes.

Ankle support is really important to me when it comes to babies, and I found these to not be too hard on the ankles while supporting and not causing any irritation on the ankle. Justin hates wearing socks (and clothes, but that’s a whole different story) so when he wears his My Mocs it’s usually without socks, and they fit just right. He doesn’t object or try to take them off like he has every other shoe or boot I’ve put on him! This is a huge plus.

My Mocs aren’t your average Moc. They have a lot more support, which is what I felt Justin needed as he doesn’t really like keeping anything on his feet, and I’m glad we tried them because they are a perfect fit.
