Disclosure: I am part of the PTPA Brand Ambassador Program with Gay Lea, and I received Compensation as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.

This month is my last month in the Gay Lea ambassadorship. This past year has been so much fun working with all the beautiful products Gay Lea has to offer. Be sure to check out the recipe section to see what we’ve created the past year!

This month for our final feature what better way than to celebrate Fall with some Pumpkin! I thought it would be fun to do something with Pumpkin for game night, as it’s fitting and my husband just loves Pumpkin!

This week we were sent the Pie Face game. My kids had been watching videos on YouTube and seeing others have fun with the game, and every time I went to the store to find it — It was gone! So, they were so excited for game night this week.

These Mini Cream Cheese Pumpkin Tarts and not only perfect for little hands and pumpkin fans but they make a great addition to any potluck, or get together you and your family may be having or attending over the upcoming holidays! They also make a great little food addition to the table for your forthcoming family game nights, which we do once a week in our house!

These delicious tarts are creamy and delightful, as well as the perfect size, so you don’t need a plate or any forks/knives. Just pick them up and go! My kind of treat.

Topped with REAL Gay Lea Whipped Cream they’d make a great addition to your game night when you are playing one of our new favourites, PIE FACE!

Who doesn’t love some good whipped cream? On your dessert or in your face, it doesn’t matter when it’s Gay Lea!

Nothing says family fun like watching your siblings get pelted in the face with some yummy whipped cream! My kids went through a can of Gay Lea Real Whipped Cream very quickly with this game. Lots of laughter and competition too – it was a riot!

Jackson’s second turn after being wholly pelted, he looks a little nervous! But he was belly laughing like no other!

We love having our family game nights once a week, and I try to make sure I make something special to go along with the evening every week. The kids hadn’t had pumpkin before and personally, I am not a fan, but they enjoyed these treats. I don’t think anyone did as much as my husband though, he enjoyed them.

  • One pack graham tart shells
  • One can pumpkin pie filling
  • 8 oz Gay Lea Cream cheese (soft)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • One tsp nutmeg
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin spice
  • One can Gay Lea real whipped cream

  2. Filling: In a mixing bowl combine ingredients and mix until well blended and smooth
  3. Set aside
  4. Shells: Bake shells for five minutes
  5. Let cool on cooling rack
  6. Once shells are cooled, fill shells with filling and refrigerate for a minimum of three hours.

I can’t get my kids to play Pie Face. The oldest is too cool apparently and the little one has sensory issues….sigh. They would both love these tarts, though. Yummers.
