We love reading in our house. I make it a point to make sure my kiddos read as much as possible. Especially the younger ones. The older ones love reading to the younger ones, and the younger ones love trying to read to everyone! When we were given the chance to check out Mother Bruce we jumped at the chance because, look how cute it looks!
Well, it is as cute as it looks! My kids have enjoyed reading it for the past week and Jackson who is 4 has asked me to read it to him every night at bed time. I love books that keep the kids interested and wanting to keep reading. It’s really cute, and I hope it stays a favorite for a good while. It’s really a great read.
About the Book
Bruce the bear likes to keep to himself. That, and eat eggs. But when his hard-boiled goose eggs turn out to be real, live goslings, he starts to lose his appetite. And even worse, the goslings are convinced he’s their mother. Bruce tries to get the geese to go south, but he can’t seem to rid himself of his new companions. What’s a bear to do?
