Date nights aren’t what they used to be. We used to go out to dinner, a movie or whatever else we could come up with but ever since welcoming Jayden back in 2009 Date Nights have been an at home type of night and I have no complaints! I enjoy having our quiet date nights at home while the kids sleep and we can actually hear a movie or what each other is saying!
A few weeks ago we decided to have one of our date nights in and watch Night School starring Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish. I have been a Kevin Hart fan for a few years now since Jordan introduced me to him so I knew this movie would be full of laughs and keep me entertained. Something a lot of other movies have been failing to do lately!
I was right! Not only was this movie entertaining but it had me in stitches most of the time!
ABOUT NIGHT SCHOOL
School is back in session when NIGHT SCHOOL available on Digital and the digital movie app MOVIES ANYWHERE as of December 11, 2018, On Demand as of December 28, 2018 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray™ and DVD as of January 1, 2019, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. Successful salesman Teddy Walker’s (Kevin Hart, Jumanji, Ride Along 1 & 2) life turns around after getting fired for accidentally destroying his workplace. Forced to attend night school so he can finally get his GED and find another job, Teddy soon finds himself amongst a group of misfit students, a teacher with no patience for grown up class clowns named Carrie (Tiffany Haddish, Girls Trip, Uncle Drew) and his high school nemesis-turned-principal Stewart (Taran Killam,Killing Gunther, Ted 2) who will strive to make sure he fails the course. With every rule in the book about to be broken, Teddy and his new friends find themselves in a battle of pranks and wit that you can’t simply learn in the classroom.
Director Malcolm D. Lee (Girls Trip, Best Man franchise) brings an extravagant comedic treat with an all-star cast including Hart, Haddish, Killam, Rob Riggle (The Hangover, 21 Jump Street) and Romany Malco (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Think Like a Man series). Producers Hart and Will Packer (Ride Alongfranchise) bring their signature humor style to NIGHT SCHOOL, making for a wildly funny and over-the-top amusement that you cannot miss!
Like all his movies Kevin Hart doesn’t disappoint. He’s hilarious, and we all know it but what I didn’t realize was just how funny Tiffany Haddish is too! If you are looking for a wonderful movie to curl up on the couch in a cozy blanket to watch with your significant other, or hang out with a group of friends for a fun movie night in then Night School is a perfect choice. Not only will you be laughing your butts off you’ll also find a lot of the film very relatable, at least I did!
Be sure to check it out! The film was available digitally on December 11th, On Demand on December 28th, and on Blu-ray/DVD on January 1st.
