A Parenting Win Every Parent Can Feel Good About #PCOrganicsBaby

Disclosure: I have partnered with YMC and PC Organics Baby and have received compensation for this post. All opinions in the post are my own.

One dominant parenting win I have discovered over the last 14 years of being a parent is: Picking Your Battles.

Yep, that’s right. Talk about a win right there. I have learned it’s best to pick what battles I want to fight with my kids and everything else can just be. It has not only eliminated most of the stress that comes along with parenting but the pressure that comes along with parenting 7. Hanna recently started sleeping in her very own bed, and while I call this a significant win, it hasn’t been the easiest for me to let her go to her bed.

As for other battles, food can be a battle I choose to pick; I know some of my kids taste buds change over time. I get that because I was a picky eater as a child and still am.

PC Organics are launching a new line of  PC Organics Baby Food Products which are 100% certified organic food products for emerging self-feeders, ages six months to 3 years (approx.), including mini rice cakes and fruit and vegetable oat bars. This new line of products is packed with balanced nutrition and flavour for your self-feeding little one.

PC Organics Baby Food Products only recently became a staple in my life, but it’s quickly become one I cherish and will not pick fights over. Making sure our kids are eating as healthy as possible has always been a goal of mine, and something I know growing up my mom tried to do with me, but I was extremely picky. Although a couple of my kids are starting to be pickier, they do for the most part eat what’s required of them just sometimes in different forms.

As a mom who firmly believes in BLW, these products are perfect for us, and they bring me comfort knowing they are certified organic and standards. It’s healthy, it’s tasty, and it’s easy for moms like me.

Hanna is 16 months old December 10th and has been self-feeding for quite a while now. She loves food. New PC Organics products are packed with balanced nutrition and flavour for your self-feeding little one. The older ones sometimes try to grab some of her snacks, but they know they are for her, and happily leave her snacks alone (although I do often see Justin watching with his little watchful eyes hoping she will share!)

What’s more, organic foods have all the flavour nature intended. And the great flavour is an excellent way to nurture your child’s love of food!

While we find many parenting wins on a day-to-day basis such as Our kids sleeping in their big kid bed for the first time, learning how to use the big kid toilet or even learning how to tie their shoes we often forget that feeding is also a win. I chose to pick my battles when it comes to food because I too know what it’s like to have to have a change in taste buds, and not like some foods. When my older kids were younger foods like PC Organics Baby weren’t around, and I think if they had some of our pickiness could have been eliminated at an early age.

Back when my oldest who just turned 14 in September was younger my wins we celebrated were much different. I didn’t know much about self-feeding back then and was one of those moms who did everything as everyone else did. I was too scared to figure things out on my own. I also wasn’t as lenient when it came to food. I made sure to do everything “by the book”, and now he is the pickiest eater of all 7 of my kids. This is something I struggle with every day and have changed quite a bit since welcoming every addition to our family.

Have you tried PC Organics Baby Food Products with your little self-feeder? With the mix of products available there is something for everyone and every taste bud! Feel good about the snacks your little ones are holding, and give PC Organics Baby Food Products a try! President’s Choice is one of Canada’s most trusted brands and has made organics ubiquitous in baby food options.

Story of my life picking battles. It’s definitely not worth sweating the small stuff. We love many of the PC products. They can often be found in our household. I love the variety and the options available, compared to when my first was a little guy. Congrats on the Win #momwin

I love watching toddlers eat! They enjoy each mouthful and they seem to really pay attention to the textures and flavors.

Looks like a very healthy snack for little ones. Most children this age are so picky.

my kids used to love rice cakes and for some reason, I stopped buying them. I guess I need to change that!

Kids can be such picky eaters these days. Even getting them to try new things is impossible. These organic treats looks so good and filled with lots of healthy ingredients.

Feeding babies organic foods is such a great way to go. I wished people would see that.

My youngest isn’t a self-feeder yet, but it will not be long before he is. I’ll have to keep this brand in mind when that day comes, though!

It’s so nice to give them healthier options especially when it comes to snacks. This brand is something I haven’t tried before but I sure would love to.

I’ve never heard of this brand before but it sounds great. I’m always up for a better alternative to snacks rather than letting them eat junk foods.

  • Reply katriza December 2, 2017 at 9:00 am

This looks like a great product! I had picky eaters at this stage and this would’ve probably been their favorite!

The Multigrain O’s with banana sounds tasty. I don’t have any babies, but I wouldn’t mind seeing what that tastes like.

  • Reply reesa December 2, 2017 at 9:52 pm

I don’t think these are sold here in the US but they look like they’re great for the baby! I love that they are organic!

We have a friend who just had a baby a few days ago. This is a brand I will tell her about.
