Having such a large family can sometimes be a hassle in the kitchen! While a few kids want one thing to eat, a few may want another and I’ll be honest – we downgraded to a smaller house in the summer of 2015 (whole other story!) so our kitchen isn’t as big as it once was, and our oven is much smaller than our previous one.
We rent so buying our own oven right now isn’t really an option, so we look for other ways to be able to cater to everyone in the house. There is also an oven already installed within our property, however, it doesn’t work as it should. So we’ve been debating whether we should look into https:www.josh-appliance.com or a similar website to take a look at fixing our oven for us. In the meantime, we have other options at our disposal!
Jordan isn’t a big fan of most things anymore. He’s gotten so picky it makes meal times so difficult. We got the Philips Airfryer to hopefully minimize the stress of making one huge meal, and a different side or two for Jordan (he hates potatoes, rice, and any veggie besides corn and peas) I had heard so many great things about Airfryers and Philips being one of our favourites it was the only option when choosing, and Philips Airfryer won to try out!

I have fallen in love. It’s easy to use, clean and store (its not very big so its not hard to find a spot in the kitchen) however, the size is the ONLY con (and to be honest, its not even a con!) I have about this unit. Having such a big family we need things to be a little bigger than average. However, with how fast the Airfryer works doing up two batches of whatever we are having is very easy and quick to do so I’m not really minding the size right now – It’s perfect for what we need! The fact it works so quickly, and leaves things crispy, and juicy outweighs any sort of issue I have with the size.
For now it’s perfect for what I am using it for, and I couldn’t be happier with the unit as a whole. With a variety of accessories including a Fry Grill Pan, Baking Pan, Variety Basket and a Double Layer rack, it’s the perfect appliance for fast and wholesome meals this holiday season. The Philips Airfryer is the healthy way to fry and it is also available in both Digital and Manual models.
One of my favourite parts about this Airfryer is the accessories you can purchase for use with the fryer. The Grill Pan is next on my list. It’s perfect for grilled fish, meat and veggies. It also has a non-stick surface to make cooking a little easier!

So far we’ve been able to make delicious, tasty and best of all quick meals that include: Onion Rings, Chicken Strips, Meatballs and even Chicken drumsticks! My kids often request French fries and we like to make whatever we can from scratch so we whipped up a batch of homemade french fries with the recipe book recipe and they turned out just amazing. Jordan, my oldest and pickiest loved them and said they are even better than our old deep fryer ones. I noticed they have little to no grease on them so this is life changing for me! I love French fries but with my gallbladder cannot do grease!
