Do you know what is so very hard? Waking up in the morning. I know, I know it’s hard for everybody but literally it’s so hard for me that I am often setting 4 to 8 alarms PER morning! PER MORNING. That is a lot of alarms and usually I’m up by the 4th or sometimes 6th one, but thats too much.. right?
Jackson goes to a special school for speech Monday and Wednesday mornings. The bus picks him up outside at 8:02a. Yes, :02. Such a crazy exact time right? Well, you try waking up in time to get his clothes picked out, his lunch ready, and him out the door at exactly 7:55am to make that 8:02 pick up. We’ve missed it once and I vowed to never ever miss it again — which brought me to leap at the chance to get this Philips Wake-Up Light.
It’s sleek and small so fits perfect on a bedside table or even desk, where I have put mine for the time being!
We sleep in our basement which does have a window but we have very dark curtains so nothing gets in them. It’s dark, dark, dark so it’s hard to know what time it is without an actual clock. Sometimes my phone dies and its as to be plugged in across the room so I can’t always check it. I’m awake multiple times a night (not usually with Hanna either, she sleeps through!) so being tired from a day with a 3 month old, a toddler and then work is tough. Especially when you are up throughout the night for no reason like I am. The Philips Wake-Up light has saved me.
It’s saved Jackson from being kicked out of this school he desperately needs to help with his speech, it’s in high demand and not everyone can get a spot so of course they keep track of absences. We cannot be late or miss this bus! Thankfully, this light does the job. How, how is it so different than an alarm clock or a phone alarm?
Everyone will appreciate the Philips Wake-up Light, which helps people wake up more naturally, thanks to a unique combination of LED technology light and sound that leaves them feeling refreshed, energized and ready for the day ahead. Alarm options include the choice between 2 nature sounds or FM radio.
- Wake up to natural sounds or FM radio
- Sunrise simulation wakes you up gradually, unlike most alarms
- Bedside light with 10 light settings
- 4 display brightness levels
- 9 out of 10 users agree: The Wake-up light works for me!
Choose between a 12 or 24 hour clock, and keep it close to your head for a smooth wake up every morning, or not at all if you get a day to sleep in!
If you are anything like me and don’t respond well to waking up, especially early and need a more natural way to get up try out the Philips Wake-Up light! I’m telling you what a difference to gradually wake up instead of BAM! Thats your alarm GET UP NOW! It’s refreshing and really works. I’ve never really been a morning person, and with kids everyone is a morning person so it’s really helping me with that!
