This weekend my kids were bored. The weather was somewhat gross, with some rain and finally some chilly air so we hung out inside. I opened my trusty closet full of goodies and I brought out this amazing box from Playmobil. The new City Life Theme – Large City Zoo!
I immediately had flashbacks of me as a kid while I was sitting with Ava building all the parts to the zoo. As a kid I had such an imagination and always created little zoos of my own because back then I was by myself and sometimes imagination was all i had; something I am finding my kids have been lacking lately. They don’t like playing together, nor do they really like waiting for things to be built – once built they generally scatter away from the toys quickly, but it was different with the Large City Zoo.
First it was Ava and Justin. Helping me build everything, and then playing. Then came Jayden and Kyla eventually came to play too. They spent the majority of the afternoon playing, and using their imaginations. Justin was having a great time with the penguins after letting some Lion’s escape from their pens – he was really letting his imagination shine thorough!
This set comes with everything you need to start a little zoo of your own. A Peacock to wander around, a pen with a lion family, a whole whack of penguins and even zoo workers to feed the animals and visitors to the zoo! It’s really full of what every kid needs to start their very own little zoo world.
