This cold weather is certainly starting to take it’s toll on not only P and I but, the kids are feeling it too. The kids are all doing their online studies as per the school and that is all fine and dandy but the reality of it is that an hour a day really isn’t long enough! This Shark Life Cycle Coloring & Writing Book is the perfect addition to our kids’ new way of learning. P likes to join in too.

So much learning with this Shark Life Cycle Coloring & Writing Book. With 5 pages to color and learn the life cycle of a shark – Kids learn new words, fine motor skills via the colouring and letter tracing, and best of all, you learn about the life cycle of a shark. With all of the technology available to our kids and speech to text, reading and writing are even more important to our kids’ growth and education and this Activity Sheet keeps the learning fun while the kids learn to write letters and letter / word recognition. For the fast workers, you could consider setting an extension task, maybe using a site like whateats to add creatures the shark eats, like jellyfish, onto their work.

We have 6 kids currently enrolled in school that all require the use of a computer or tablet and let’s face it. We don’t have 6 laptops or tablets lying around the house so sharing has become a huge undertaking for the kids. P makes sure for now to get the younger two settled into an early morning session back to back which helps a bit. The problem is, is that the other kids try so desperately to join in thus, confusing Justin or Jackson to the point of wanting to just give up. Now the other kids sit in the dining room at the table when P and the boys are at the kitchen table actually able to learn.

These Shark’s Life Cycle Activity Sheets also allow Hanna and Mia to get involved with their brothers and develop their fine motor skills too. Albeit Mia eats as much crayon as she puts to the paper, she is learning and having a blast while she is with her older siblings, adoring her older siblings and the time they are sharing together.

This Shark Life Cycle Coloring & Writing Book is such a welcome to our home. To not have our kids constantly at a screen or on an electronic device is so peaceful. I swear at the end of their activities, they not only are much calmer but, they seem to like each other just a little bit more each time they do the activity sheets.

As we eagerly await the warmer weather where we can move our learning and activity time outside, the kids seem to have adapted to their new found schooling and activity sheets very well and now ask for the activity sheets every morning. What a great way for any parent to wake up isn’t it? Having your kids asking to learn first thing is an amazing feeling and brightens our day to no end.
