SING Blu-Ray & DVD Makes The PERFECT Addition to Any Easter Basket This Year! #SingMovie #SingSquad

Disclosure: This post is in partnership with Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.  As always opinions are all mine.

Every year as a kid I would always look forward to Easter. My mom wasn’t one to give too much junk food but instead would always include something fun like a skipping rope, a DVD, a cd or some other small fun toys like bubbles, or a fun coat. This has been a tradition I have always kept up with my own kids and they really seem to enjoy it too. Of course, we add a few little chocolates and usually a bunny of some sort but they always look forward to their big gift. This year, SING Blu-Ray + DVD is a big focus of our Easter baskets!

Every year I find somewhere to donate 2 baskets and normally I would do the same thing I do for my kids in these baskets and include a fun main gift too. This year, it’s SING. We have the movie and have watched it five times now since getting it – We still love it, and laugh at the same parts. The kids request to watch it daily, so I know whoever gets this basket will enjoy it as much as we do.

Wonderful, funny, heartwarming film with great music and a fantastic cast.

The music-filled comedy will include over 60-minutes of bonus content and will incorporate three all-new entertaining mini movies featuring the cast from SING as well as an exclusive Tori Kelly music video and a variety of musical extras.

From Illumination, the studio that brought you The Secret Life of Pets and the Despicable Me franchise, comes an animated comedy about finding the music that lives inside all of us. SING stars Academy Award® winner Matthew McConaughey as Buster Moon, an eternally optimistic koala who puts on the world’s greatest singing competition to save his crumbling theater; Academy Award® winner Reese Witherspoon as Rosita, an overworked and unappreciated mother of 25 piglets desperate to unleash her inner diva; Scarlett Johansson as Ash, a punk rock porcupine with a beautiful voice behind her prickly exterior; Taron Egerton as Johnny, a young gangster gorilla looking to break free of his family’s felonies; as well as Seth MacFarlane, John C. Reilly, and Grammy Award-nominated Tori Kelly. SING is the musical comedy event of the year!

The Golden Globe nominee for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song, SING features more than 65 hit songs including ‘Faith,’ a brand new song by the legendary Stevie Wonder (featuring Ariana Grande), marking his first song for a major film release in 25 years.

Every year that I do up special baskets to deliver we take to shelters or the fire station for them to deliver to some families who may not be able to afford much celebrating. The reason I decided to include SING this year is simple: It’s funny, it’s light-hearted and its entertaining. I know not all families are as blessed as mine so around the holidays spreading laughter, and joy is something I always look forward to. SING will take their minds off whatever is going on in their lives for at least a little while.

Although I am a little bit behind this year on most things Easter, I am thrilled to have this basket ready to deliver. I tried to include some other fun items such as:

  • Medium Sized Chocolate Bunny
  • 2 Bunny Bomb Homemade Bath Bombs
  • Gunter SING toy I purchased at McDonald’s (they also came in Kids Meals)
  • 3 Mini Hollow Chocolate Bunnies
  • 3 Plastic eggs with $2 in each
  • Gum Shaped Easter Eggs
  • A Yellow Flower

I am pretty sure my kids would go nuts for this basket. As we were putting it together they all had a blast helping me get things in and organized. Perfect for any little one or tween, even teens seem to have a blast with Sing, it’s the perfect addition to any Easter Basket! Also, makes it look really cute too, I mean look at the cover! Such cute characters!

We had such a blast making up this basket. Now I need to get my kid’s baskets organized and ready for the upcoming holiday weekend! We are really looking forward to it!

Do you know someone who would love to get SING in their Easter Basket? What are you doing to make your baskets special this year?
