How do you keep all the dishes in the house cleaned all day, and available for everyone without running the dishwasher all day long? In our house, the extra washing/dish wash duties have to fall on the kiddos and we wanted to see if there was a way to wash our extra dishes without using as much water as we normally would, and still keep it as eco-friendly as possible. Well, we recently discovered a product by KLIIN (remember this post I did on them?) and we found out how you can get Sparkling Results Without the Waste with KLIIN.
Disclosure: This post is in partnership with KLIIN. As always, opinions are all my own.
We loved their reusable paper towels – and are especially thankful for them right now in this crazy pandemic we are going through and the shortage of paper we are seeing all over. So, when KLIIN reached out to me about their new product, of course, I was excited to give it a try.
Complete Clean, Zero Waste
Unlike traditional cleaning products that are made of 70% water, KLIIN’s dish cleansing paste has a concentrated and soluble formula that significantly reduces water consumption – both by its ingredient list and through its washing process.
“Our research shows that most households wash dishes one or two pieces at a time, which results in water wastage as opposed to washing a sink-full of dishes that have piled up,” said KLIIN Founder and entrepreneur Marie-Pierre Bérubé. “KLIIN dish cleansing paste is perfectly suited for wash-as-you-go households because it eliminates the need to fill a sink with soapy water each time.” With KLIIN’s new product, users simply apply the paste with a rag or a damp sponge, scrub and rinse clean using only the water needed. Studies show that water-infused traditional detergents cause more suds to accumulate, requiring the need to use more water for rinsing.
Did you know that traditional cleaning products are made of 70% water and only 30% of cleaning solution?
Powerful all-purpose cleaner
With a powerful degreasing agent, KLIIN dish cleansing paste is also an efficient multipurpose solution for cleaning household surfaces such as sinks, countertops, stovetops, ovens, range hoods, and ceramic surfaces, as well as for removing soap residue from glass shower doors and bathtubs.
A quick dip into this biodegradable solution can also give new life to KLIIN’s reusable towels and infuse them with the citrusy scent of lemon or lime. Available at selected retailers and online at www.kliin.co, KLIIN dish cleansing paste –which will last about six months when used every day – comes in a 250g container and retails at $7.99.
Although we do have a dishwasher a lot of our pots, pans and special blog accessories can’t go in the dishwasher. We also pay for our water in our house and with a house full of 10 people it adds up quickly. Using KLIIN dish cleansing paste will help eliminate some of that wasted water, and hopefully, we’ll see a change on our water bill.
What dish soap do you know that can last up to 6mo? That’s unheard of, and truly life-changing when you think of it. How much water will be saved? How much plastic from all those other dishwashing soaps? I also really love the fact that like all of KLIIN products this product stays true to KLIIN’s ecological mission to encourage consumers to adopt new easy-on-the-environment practices. I don’t know about you but I feel much better-using products like these on the daily in my house, and encourage everyone looking to reduce their carbon footprint to take a look at KLIIN products.
