Thanksgiving is this weekend in Canada! Are you ready?
With the weather being so crazy over the last couple of weeks, it’s hard to believe Thanksgiving is this weekend. But it’s true. It’s here, and it’s time to get down to business: Desserts.
I love the holidays for gathering with my family and just relaxing with them not having to worry about daily schedules or routines. Holidays, however, can bring on other stresses in the kitchen. I am one who always has to have a variety of desserts on the table after a big holiday meal. This year? I don’t want to bake them. I’m exhausted from early pregnancy; I am dealing with extreme morning sickness (all-day sickness!) and exhaustion, so I want quick, easy, and delicious.
This brings us to Chudleigh’s Entertainment Farm. If you remember, our family helped Chudleigh’s celebrate their 50th anniversary in August. We were able to explore the farm, do some apple picking and sample some fantastic food Chudleigh’s has to offer.
Have you ever visited Chudleigh’s? If you haven’t you are missing out. Not only can the family explore the farm where almost 40,000 apples grow for the picking, there are giant slides, pony rides, and even farm animals kids can pet and enjoy!
The most exciting part for me, and for you guys right now with Thanksgiving right around the corner is – The DESSERTS!
In 1995, Chudleigh’s invented the world-famous Apple Blossom, a single-serving variation of classic apple pie made with delicious Northern Spy apples and sourced with integrity from producers. Only four hours pass from the time they are picked to baking!
These blossoms are baked fresh from scratch, then frozen right away to preserve freshness. When you want to have them just take them out and heat them up in the oven. Heating them from frozen gently crisps up the petals of flaky pastry, warms the sweet apple filling and bonus – your house will smell amazing amazing!
Chudleigh’s offers more when it comes to desserts such as Pineapple Upside Down Cake, Bumble Crumble Pie, Key Lime Pie, Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes and the new Butter Toffee Sticky Cake. A must-try for Thanksgiving is their legendary Pumpkin Pie! All are of their desserts are made with high-quality ingredients and frozen fresh from the oven. Not to mention every batch is made from scratch!
We are looking forward to Apple Blossoms, and this delicious Bumble Crumble pie this Holiday weekend!
If you are looking for a delicious and easy, but not short on quality Thanksgiving dessert Chudleigh’s has something for the whole family. But, if you just can’t make it out to Chudleigh’s Entertainment Farm before the holiday weekend, you can visit your local Costco, Longo’s or Grocery Gateway to pick up some products for your delicious meal.
Families are invited to make their own memories at Chudleigh’s this year – the farm is open daily until October 31 from 10 am to 5 pm. To visit Chudleigh’s Entertainment Farm for to book a special event, please visit: HERE.
