This holiday season I am planning on having some friends over for a little get together before the big two day Christmas event, so I’ve been planning my menu, what we will do and all those fun ideas! When I was asked if I wanted to partner with Triscuit to create a recipe for their new Limited Edition flavour cracker I immediately said yes! I have so much fun with food, and Triscuits are a brand that we always have on hand so it was a no-brainer for me.
I decided to go with an easy appetizer that you can plan for, and whip up rather quickly! It goes well with the new Limited Edition Flavour Triscuit – Nutmeg and Cinnamon. With hints of sweetness, rich, creamy butter, and aromatic cinnamon collide with fragrant nutmeg to create the perfect holiday treat whether you’re hosting a party, or hastily trying to get everything on your list done. Made with the same simple ingredients all Triscuit flavours are known for; they also look pretty on a plate or platter
If these don’t scream holiday, I don’t know what will. They are also really delicious! Starting with the same three simple ingredients that make up all Triscuit crackers – wheat, oil and salt – this new flavour combines warm, aromatic cinnamon and fragrant nutmeg to create a perfectly delicious holiday treat.
Ingredients needed:
- Triscuit Holiday Nutmeg and Cinnamon
- 1 Package (150g) Goat Cheese
- 100g Sliced Almonds
- 100gr Dried Cranberries
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
Directions:
- Plate out how many triscuits you want to use, and spread goat cheese on crackers
- Top with dried cranberries and sliced almonds
- Sprinkle a tiny amount of ground cinnamon on top for extra flavour
The holidays can be stressful and crazy, but when it comes to entertaining it doesn’t have to be too complicated. Triscuit Nutmeg and Cinnamon make it easy to create a delicious, and fun appetizer that doesn’t have to take too long to make but looks like you put in more effort than you did!
Want to include some of the original party flavours? No problem at all, the toppings will still taste delicious on top of any Triscuit flavour and make a great addition to your party, get together or potluck!
