Treatsbox – Monthly Candy Subscription Box

titleA few weeks ago I decided I needed to try something new. I love subscription boxes that are full of different foods, and treats that I wouldn’t normally have – Gluten Free, or even from the USA that has things we don’t have in Canada have been great. But, I wanted something different – I wanted candy.

Yes please. So excited. #treatsbox

I came across Treatsbox and immediately knew this was the box for me. I looked up some reviews, and was thrilled with what everyone got in their boxes. I thought giving it a try couldn’t hurt, and Treatsbox is based in Canada (they do however ship to the US!) so I figured it would be a win/win.

treats2My box arrived, it’s the December box so there was some Christmas treats and although it wasn’t what I was expecting when I opened it, it was still a decent box.

Subscription Options:

  • Regular: $19.99 per month + shipping.
  • Epic: $39.99 per month + shipping.
  • Save when you subscriber longer – 3, 6, & 12 month options.

What You Can Expect:

A box full of a variety of quality confectionery from well known candy suppliers and manufacturers. The boxes are comprised of a mixture of full sized retail packages and sample packages from the suppliers. Minimum $30 value in each regular box and $50 minimum value in the epic box.

My Box:

treatsbox2I think I’d like to try the box again to see if I get a better box. I was happy with this one but I had much higher expectations after reading over reviews, and seeing youtube unboxings for Treatsbox. I can’t see how the value is $30 for my box though, so I would have to really hunt down the prices to see. I had a lot of items that were single, and I think came out of a bigger package, I also got a few suckers. Not sure what you can retail those at.

Here is everything that came in my December box –

If you are interested in trying out the Treatsbox head on over to the website to check out all the options. Shipping to USA is available (although a couple extra dollars) so it isn’t just strictly Canadian only. I plan to try one more box, and if I liked it I will be getting it for the next few months!
