Contents of the box:

  • Aoi Blueberry Matcha Tea – Delicious. Actually a favorite of the wife, so that says something.
  • Otafuku Foods Okanomiyaki Kit – I took this to work and will be enjoying this there with some of the other employees. This is pancake / omelet mix. Create your own okanomiyaki.
  • Morinaga Milk Caramels –  Delicious caramel candies that the whole family enjoyed. Chewy, and sweet.
  • Ishiguro Yamaimo Soba Noodles – We haven’t tried these yet but they are noodle made from yams and buckwheat. Sounds interesting.
  • Takaokaya Seaweed Snack – Awesome seaweed snack. One of the best I’ve tried.
  • Kasugai Gummies – Delicious gummie candies and lychee flavored. The flavor is not overpowering but it’s delicious and are gluten free.
  • Wadakan Unami Ponzu Sauce – A wonderful sauce tasting of citrus and soy. Sweet, tangy and salty.

japan10What a great Japanese try the world box. Full of bountiful delights that kept my mouth watering for days. I was so happy to see seaweed snacks as part of the package. They were tasty and crisp the way I like them. The ponzu sauce is spot on full of flavour and a great citrus zing that makes for a phenomenal addition to a glaze and or marinade. The icing on the cake however was the outstanding lychee flavoured gummies. All the taste and sweetness without the troubles of peeling and having your hands sticky.

All in all, a fabulous box of delectable goodies meant for the enthusiastic palate. Thank you try the world for another amazing culinary adventure that thrilled and amused my taste buds.
