Unlimited Squirrels: Who is the Mystery Reader?

This week I’ve had a few conversations while visiting my kid’s school with their amazing principal and she has been raving about Justin. He is such a leader, a joy and a real big help at school. Lately, he’s been a rather big handful at home but he always wants to help. That has always been in his nature and when it comes to the blog he is always the first one to jump up to help and get in photos. Today, I didn’t have to even ask he was just right there wanting to read with dad and get in on his amazing book Unlimited Squirrels: Who is the Mystery Reader?

Unlimited Squirrels: Who is the Mystery Reader?Disclosure: This post is in partnership with Disney Book Group. As always, opinions are all my own.

About the book:

From Mo Willems, creator of the revolutionary, award-winning, best-selling Elephant & Piggie books, comes this breakout beginning-reader series. An ensemble cast of Squirrels, Acorns, and pop-in guests host a page-turning extravaganza. Each book features a funny, furry adventure AND bonus jokes, quirky quizzes, nutty facts, and so, so many Squirrels.

In Who is the Mystery Reader?, Zoom Squirrel tries out a new superpower with help from a mysterious Mystery Reader. But will the Squirrel pals ever find out who the real Mystery Reader is? Do you know more about reading than the Squirrels do? You will by the end of this book!

Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! was also an inaugural inductee into the Indies Choice Picture Book Hall of Fame. Justin loves to read so he’s thrilled to have this book to add to his growing collection. He is now 6 and in grade 1 – which is perfect because this book’s recommended ages are 6-8 and unlike any beginning-reader series on the market, Unlimited Squirrels combines hilarious narrative stories with surprising nonfiction content. There’s something for everyone to scurry over!

Unlimited Squirrels is also a great book to sit down and share with kids because it addresses a range of physical, emotional, and social development markers. These high-interest subjects act to engage kids in the overall reading experience while also providing caregivers and educators with humorous and relatable conversation starters.
